So...last night I was lying on the couch just sort of chilling out, and my cat Boots decided to join me. He gets on the back of the couch right over me, and sort of stretches his paw down and rests it on my shoulder. I snapped a picture and ... well, you get the picture.
He's becoming a very companionable kitty.

awww him lubbs you. Boots really is a special kitty. He's come a long long ways since you first got him.
I agree, he has come a l-o-n-g way! And, yes, MOST of the time I think he loves me! :-)
companionable yes---but on their terms, when THEY want to be alone---oooh man can they do great "ignore".
