In the still of the night

My sweet husband was sick in the night. It woke me up, and now I guess I am up for the duration. He's back in bed and, I fervently hope, sleeping.

He'll be home today, prepping for the Thursday's colonoscopy. I'll be at work, worrying.

I've been doing so much better, I thought, at not letting my thoughts run away with me about what could possibly be going on with Steve and his stomach issues. But in "the still of the night," it's hard to keep my thoughts corralled.

Please, please......let all be well.

I've had a colonoscopy. As I recasll, the prep was worse than the procedure.

Still, best wishes to you both.

You've got my prayers and well wishes as well. Was gonna ask about Steve today, and see how he was doing. Guess I got my answer. Now, how are you? Call me if you need me, I'm always here for you.
Hugs,
Vikki

Its better to find out now than later if ther is any kind of a problem----doctors now have this test scheduled regularly for their patients who are middle to late years. I am sure he will do just fine.

Thanks, Cinderella. I'll gladly take all the thoughts and prayers for Steve that I can get...

Roger, thanks. You are telling us exactly what others have said, so it's reassuring.

Vikki......what would I do without you????

Gary, I know. You're absolutely right. I just want it to be over and for us to have some answers.

Roy - ain't THAT the truth? The worry is laying on my chest like a hundred-pound weight. Thank you for your well wishes.

Thanks to all who have sent up good thoughts or prayers on my sweet husband's behalf. I appreciate it more than you will ever, ever know.
